Can I Downgrade My WHC Service? A Guide to the Process

Introduction

A downgrade is the process of changing your service plan to one with fewer features, lower capacity, or reduced performance. This might happen due to changes in your needs or for cost-saving measures. The goal is to ensure that the service remains efficient and cost-effective while still meeting your essential requirements.

Procedure

A downgrade can only be requested by opening a ticket from your Client Area

For the steps on how to open a ticket with our Billing department, please refer to this article.

Refund/Credit Upon Downgrade

Downgrading the service does not typically offer a refund or credit. However, in exceptional cases, we may offer an account credit. For more information, please reach out to our Billing department.

Interruption During the Downgrade Process

In some cases, a DNS change may be involved during the downgrade process, which can lead to a temporary interruption in service availability. After the downgrade, our support department will provide you with the necessary information and any changes you may need to make on your end to reduce downtime. For any further assistance, feel free to reach out to us.
