How to close or delete a WHC account
Closing an account: WHC will retain all your data. It will be easier for you if you choose to come back to WHC. You will NOT be able to log in your Client Area unless requested otherwise.
Deleting an account: WHC will close your account and remove any Personally Identifiable Information (PII)*. You will NOT be able to log in to your Client Area. This change is irreversible.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps of closing your account or deleting an account if you wish to have your data be deleted.
IMPORTANT: All your services and domains must already be cancelled before submitting your request. If you are trying to delete a duplicate account, consider merging accounts instead.
To close your WHC account
Disclaimer: By closing your account at WHC, you confirm that you will no longer be able to log in or access/restore any of your services, use any available credit on your account, or access any of your existing data, including support tickets or invoices.
- Make sure all your services and domains are cancelled
- Log in to the Client Area
- In your dashboard, click on Support > Create Ticket
- Assign your ticket to the Billing department
- Write “I want to close my account” in the Subject
- Confirm in the Message section that your already cancelled all your services and explain why you're cancelling (optional) and click Submit
- You'll receive a reply asking you to validate the request and confirm you understand that you will lose access to all your data
- Respond to that message validating your understanding and acceptance
- Your account will be closed and a final confirmation message sent to you
To close and delete your WHC account

- Make sure all your services and domains are cancelled
- Log in to the Client Area
- In your dashboard, click on Support > Create Ticket
- Assign your ticket to the Billing department
- Write “I want to close my account and delete all my data” as the Subject
- Confirm that you have cancelled all your services and explain why you want to cancel (optional) in the Message section and click Submit
- You will receive a reply in the next hours asking you to validate the request and confirm you understand that you will permanently lose all your data
- Respond to that message, validating your understanding and acceptance
- Your account will be closed and data anonymized or deleted within 5 business days, and a final confirmation message sent to you
There are many reasons why you might want to close your account or have your personal data deleted and WHC respects your right to privacy.
For security reasons, we cannot accept these requests by email, chat, or phone.
