What Are the Conditions to Register a Canadian Domain (CA)?

In short, to buy a .ca domain name, you must either be a Canadian resident or citizen, or have registered a company in Canada.

You can consult the full eligibility rules of CIRA (Canadian Internet Registration Authority) on the organization's website:

https://www.cira.ca/ca-domains/register-your-ca-domain/keeping-ca-canadian

Please note that in order for your domain registration process to be approved, you must log in and accept the terms and conditions on CIRA's web site within 7 days of your order. CIRA will send you an email shortly after your order asking you to complete this additional step. Please do not ignore or delete this email, otherwise your domain registration will be cancelled at the end of the 7th day. This registration is free, takes a few minutes to finish, and simply confirms the details from the order form you have completed with us.
